The core experience guides users through a multi-step setup to customise visual profiles, manage text inputs, configure media tracks, and review aggregate data. Finalised assets are compiled programmatically into multi-format physical and digital outputs. We have a stable, functioning frontend engineering prototype built on Tailwind CSS / React. We seek a mid-level Product Designer to audit our layout sequences, optimise user transaction flows, and deliver a production-ready, highly tokenised design system in Figma. Milestone Deliverables Milestone 1 — UX Audit, Age-Scaling & Wireframing Onboarding & Workspaces: Refine structural wireframes for multi-step data-entry forms, asset-customisation wizards, and media-recording panels. Cognitive Load & Safety Check: Optimise layouts for youth (ages 8–14), balancing high-focus creative zones with minimal sensory clutter to reduce executive function overload. Analytics View: Structure a summary progress overview for parent accounts. Milestone 2 — High-Fidelity Multi-Format Design Layout Adaptability: Deliver responsive high-fidelity UI views across varying screen breakpoints, managing overlapping text elements, visual asset frames, and interactive state transitions. Format Variances: Design interface variations that accommodate both grid-based graphical panel streams and relative single-column prose text blocks. Automated Content Guardrails & Error States: Design intuitive, age-appropriate fallback interface layouts and explicit system message alerts for instances where user text inputs trigger platform safety filters or violate automated moderation boundaries. Print Optimisation: Ensure all visual workspaces map cleanly onto programmatic, high-resolution physical print spreads (e.g., handling square/landscape aspect ratios, inner gutter boundaries, and binding safety margins). Milestone 3 — Developer-Ready Figma Token System Component Trees: Organise all layouts into reusable component architectures with clean layer naming and comprehensive variant sets (buttons, media inputs, text fields). Tailwind Alignment: Establish a single source of truth using Figma variables/tokens for colours, spacing, typography, and responsive breakpoints that map directly onto our tailwind.config.js rules. Hand-off Packages: Provide full Dev Mode access with embedded print-container constraints and specific layout properties to ensure zero visual regression during engineering adaptation. Interface-to-System Mapping & Content Integrity tokens: Establish strict design-system token configurations that visually separate user-generated typography inputs from hard-coded system layouts. Deliver explicit UI wireframe architectures for input validation, ensuring clear visual containers for safe text limits in absolute compliance with UAE Child Digital Safety content restrictions. Candidate Requirements: Accessible or Youth UX/UI Portfolio: Proven experience managing reading-focused constraints, text hierarchies, and neuro-inclusive design practices (WCAG alignment, low sensory distraction, or dyslexia-friendly layouts). Layout, Editor, or Canvas App Experience: Portfolio demonstrating work on custom publishing interfaces, greeting-card compilers, digital scrapbooks, layout canvases, or creative workspace apps. Tokenised Figma Practice: Strong expertise using Figma auto-layout, advanced component variables, tokens, and Dev Mode hand-offs built to translate into frontend code, not just static mockups. Independence: Competence in converting business and technical requirements into clean prototypes with mid-level autonomy. Compliance & Digital Governance (UAE Framework): All interface flows and component configurations must strictly comply with Federal Decree-Law No. 26 of 2025 on Child Digital Safety (CDS Law). Hand-off assets must feature high privacy-by-default logic, zero tracking or commercial profiling for minors, and include layout wireframes for a secure parental consent gateway alongside guardian account-monitoring controls. Legal & Applications A mutual NDA and standard IP Assignment Agreement protecting our UAE startup entity must be executed before sharing full application workflows or source repositories.
