Freelance Publicist for Bay Area Restaurants

We're iniBurger, a five-location fast-casual burger chain in the SF Bay Area — 100% Angus beef, fully halal-certified, the only halal-certified brand in our competitive set. We're hiring a publicist for earned media only: pitching our story to Bay Area and national food/business press (SF Chronicle, SFGate, Eater SF, KQED, Nation's Restaurant News, local broadcast). We have positioning, boilerplate, and pitch angles developed; we need someone with real journalist relationships and beat knowledge to place stories. No press-release distribution, no pay-for-play placements, no guaranteed-coverage schemes. In your proposal, include: (1) three placements you personally secured with links, (2) one Bay Area food journalist you'd pitch us to and why, (3) your monthly retainer or per-project rate. Ex-journalists and food/hospitality specialists strongly preferred.
