Freelance Social Media Manager (US Market)

We're launching a micro-comic series on different platforms. We're in final pre-production and looking for a marketer who can build the audience. What You'll Own: - Social media strategy for Instagram (primary) and other platforms - Content calendar - Caption and hashtag strategy in English - Community management - Performance reporting - Audience growth strategy What We're Looking For: - 2+ years managing social media for a creative brand, webcomic, animation studio, or entertainment property - Demonstrated track record growing an account from under 1K to meaningful engagement - Strong understanding of what makes content shareable - Comfortable working with a fast-moving production team - Familiarity with immigrant or diaspora communities as an audience is a genuine advantage Compensation is negotiable. Payments will be made once a month. Performance-based bonuses may be available upon achieving KPIs. There is a possibility of transitioning to a full-time role. It’s beneficial to have knowledge of not only the U.S. audience but also the Russian audience. Proficiency in Russian is a plus. Preference is given to candidates based in the United States. The role operates on PST; if your time difference exceeds 4 hours, please explain how you plan to stay aligned with the schedule. We’re looking for proactive, analytical people who can deliver results, not those who treat marketing as unpredictable magic.
