Freelance VFX Compositor / Rotoscoping Artist (Green Screen Advertising Content) About The Project We are looking for a skilled VFX Compositor to help create high-quality video advertisements using green screen footage. Our workflow involves filming actors in a studio and seamlessly integrating them into real-world environments using stock footage, custom-shot footage, and background plates. The goal is to create advertisements that feel cinematic, believable, and visually polished. We are not looking for basic background replacement. We need someone who can make talent appear naturally integrated into the scene through advanced compositing techniques, matching lighting, realistic shadows, color grading, depth of field, camera movement, perspective, and environmental interaction. This is an ongoing freelance opportunity with consistent work for the right person. Responsibilities: -Take raw green screen footage and create finished advertising content -Perform advanced chroma keying and green screen extraction -Create clean mattes with detailed edge refinement -Remove green spill and color contamination -Perform complex rotoscoping when keying alone is insufficient -Composite actors into stock footage or custom background plates -Match lighting, shadows, reflections, color temperature, and scene atmosphere -Relight talent when necessary to match the destination environment -Create realistic contact shadows and environmental integration -Perform camera tracking and motion tracking -Match perspective, scale, depth, and movement between foreground and background elements -Color correct and color grade final scenes -Remove unwanted objects, equipment, or distractions from footage -Deliver polished, production-ready assets optimized for paid advertising platforms Required Skills: -Advanced Adobe After Effects experience -Professional experience with compositing software such as Nuke, Fusion, Mocha Pro, -Silhouette, or equivalent tools -Expert-level green screen keying -Strong rotoscoping and matte creation skills -Color matching and color grading expertise -Camera tracking and motion tracking experience -Lighting and shadow integration techniques -Experience creating photorealistic composites -Strong understanding of depth, perspective, and environmental realism -Ability to work with high-resolution footage and tight deadlines Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate understands how to make visual effects invisible. We are looking for someone who can seamlessly place a subject filmed in a studio into a completely different environment while maintaining realism. The finished result should look as though the talent was originally filmed on location.
