French Proofreader for Romance Novels

I’m looking for a native French (European) speaker to proofread translations of my mafia romance novels produced by a new AI translation system. Most other authors publish the output from this system immediately, but I want a human to do the final pass. I have two novels ready to be proofread right now. The first book is 160,000 words. The second book is 136,000 words. I’m not looking for a “Is this a perfect translation from English?” proofread. I just want you to catch anything that would make a French reader go “Huh?” (Poor vocabulary choices, grammatical mistakes, sentences where an idiomatic French phrase would work better, etc.) If you never consult the English text except to double-check something you find confusing, that’s fine by me. I’m looking for someone whose rate is 0.002-0.008 US per word. I’m willing to pay more for someone with a history of proofreading romance novels (particularly dark romance). One warning: the books are mafia romance and deal with dark romance themes. I will supply a Word .docx file. The file you give back to me needs to be a Word .docx that tracks changes.
