French-Speaking Creative Strategist (DTC / Meta Ads)

We're a profitable DTC e-commerce company running two fast-growing brands : one in travel comfort, one in pet health & wellness (primarily on Meta in the French market, expanding into Spain & Italy). We don't guess our way to winners. We run a systematized creative engine: brief → production → publish → post-launch analysis → iterate. We're looking for a Creative Strategist to own that engine end to end, across both brands. What you'll own - Turn customer insight (surveys, reviews, performance data) into winning ad angles for two brands. - Write hooks, scripts, and full creative briefs across formats: UGC, static, VSL, animation - Drive the creative roadmap — plan batches, define the variables to test, keep iteration disciplined - Brief and review video editors; approve creatives before they go live - Run post-launch analysis (Hook Rate, Hold Rate, CTR, CVR, ROAS) and turn it into clear next actions Scale winners through structured iteration Who you are (must-haves) - Native or fully fluent French — you write copy that reads native, not translated - 2+ years writing direct-response creative for DTC brands on Meta (show us results) - Fluent in direct-response fundamentals: awareness & sophistication levels (Schwartz), RMBC, Breakthrough Advertising. You can explain why a hook works, not just feel it. - You make decisions from data : you know what to do when Hook Rate is high but Hold Rate drops off - Comfortable across formats: UGC, static, VSL, and animated/cartoon concepts - Systems-minded — you work from briefs, templates, and learnings logs, not one-off intuition Bonus points - Experience in travel and/or pet/health niches - You've scaled a creative past $50k in spend/month at 2.5+ ROAS - Spanish or Italian a plus (our expansion markets) How we work - Long-term, full-time.
