French Voiceover Artists Needed for Ongoing Film Dubbing - '26

We are looking to expand our roster of professional French voice actors for remote film dubbing projects. These are full-scene dubbing jobs, not simple narration or explainer voiceovers. We expect authentic, emotionally rich performances matched to video, with strong attention to lip sync, tone, pacing, and character delivery. Project Scope: You will be dubbing full-length feature films or series episodes originally produced in another language into French. You will receive: • A dialogue-adapted French script • A reference video with original language audio • Character notes and emotional cues Who We’re Looking For: • French-speaking voice artists • Male and female actors, Young Adult, Middle Aged, Mature, and Older voices • Strong acting ability with lip-sync experience (ADR or dubbing preferred) • Able to follow direction and adapt performances live • Reliable, punctual, and easy to communicate with • Professional home studio setup (microphone, interface, treated recording space) • Comfortable working with fast turnaround times when required by project deadlines Technical Requirements: • 24-Bit 48 kHz WAV delivery required • Dialogues must be placed according to the movie timeline per character, this is important • Complete recordings per character are required, not split scene-by-scene or line-by-line deliveries • Clean recordings with no background noise or interference • Recording levels should generally peak around -6 dB for clarity • Small nuances such as breathing, reactions, efforts, laughs, cries, and natural vocal details required by the scene must be included • Familiarity with dubbing or ADR workflows is a plus, but not required Performance Expectations: This is not just dialogue recording, we expect immersive acting performances. Artists must watch the film before recording and continuously reference the scenes during recording to match the original pacing, tone, pitch, energy, emotion, and delivery style of the character as accurately as possible. Since this is a remote workflow, we also rely heavily on artists being able to naturally improvise or slightly adjust dialogue delivery where needed to better match lip sync, while still preserving the original meaning and context of the scene. Artists may also be required to perform multiple characters within the same film. In such cases, the ability to subtly adjust tone, pitch, texture, or delivery style between characters is highly appreciated. Compensation & Collaboration: • Standard dubbing rate is $150 per 1000 words • Rates may improve over time for artists who become consistent long-term collaborators within our workflow • Ongoing work for artists who fit our workflow • Fast communication, clear expectations, and collaborative workflow Some sessions may be directed live via Zoom (or similar), where our adaptation team and recordist guide artists through the lines to ensure performance quality and sync. We may require artists to be available for such sessions when needed. Artists are expected to provide clean, high-quality recordings from their own remote setup.
