Front-End Web Developer Needed to Fix Google Core Web Vitals & PageSpeed Issues

We are looking for an experienced Front-End Web Developer or Web Performance Specialist to help us resolve performance and speed issues flagged by Google PageSpeed Insights and Google Search Console (Core Web Vitals). Our website is currently built on [Insert Platform: e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Custom HTML/React], and we need an expert who can dive into the code and implement the necessary fixes to improve our scores and overall user experience. Performance Targets & Payment Milestones (Important): This is a performance-based contract. Payment will be tied directly to achieving verifiable results on Google PageSpeed Insights and ensuring no functionality is broken in the process. To consider this job successfully completed, the following KPIs must be met: Largest Contentful Paint (LCP): 2.5 seconds or less. Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS): 0.1 or less. Interaction to Next Paint (INP): 200 milliseconds or less. PageSpeed Insights Score: Minimum [80+] on Mobile and [90+] on Desktop. Zero Breakages: The site must look and function exactly as it does now. No broken layouts, missing tracking scripts, or disabled plugins. Key Responsibilities: Audit our current PageSpeed/Core Web Vitals report and identify the root causes of poor performance. Optimize and compress images and media formats (e.g., serving WebP/AVIF). Eliminate render-blocking resources (CSS and JavaScript). Minify and defer/async offscreen scripts appropriately. Fix Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) issues by properly sizing media and dynamically injected content so the site does not jump around while loading. Implement advanced caching strategies if necessary. Required Skills & Expertise: Web Performance Optimization: Deep understanding of Google Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights, and Core Web Vitals. Front-End Mastery: Expert-level HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Resource Management: Proven ability to minify code, defer/async non-critical scripts, and eliminate render-blocking resources. Platform Expertise: Extensive experience developing and troubleshooting within [Insert Platform, e.g., WordPress/PHP or Shopify/Liquid]. Must provide: Before-and-after screenshots or case studies of previous websites you have successfully optimized.
