Front-end html / CSS UI developer (Django)

Senior UI/UX Designer Required – Modernise an AI Horse Racing Platform (www.saturday-racing.com) Overview I'm looking for an experienced UI/UX designer to modernise the front-end of Saturday Racing, an AI-powered horse racing intelligence platform. This is not a project to redesign the brand from scratch. The platform is already live and feature-rich. The objective is to refine the visual experience, improve usability and create a cleaner, premium editorial look while retaining the existing functionality. The ideal designer has experience creating interfaces similar to Bloomberg, The Athletic, Financial Times, Formula 1 or modern sports analytics products. About the Platform Saturday Racing combines: AI-generated race analysis Editorial content Interactive race cards Horse profiles Performance statistics Ante-post analysis News Prediction algorithms Historical data Personal dashboards The backend is built in Django and is fully functional. This project focuses purely on improving the front-end user experience. What Needs Improving I am looking for someone who can review the existing platform and redesign the interface with a strong focus on: Modern typography Better visual hierarchy Cleaner spacing and layouts Improved colour palette Consistent components Better navigation Improved mobile responsiveness Editorial-style presentation Premium data visualisation More engaging dashboards Improved readability for large volumes of racing information The goal is to make the platform feel premium while keeping it fast and intuitive. Deliverables The successful freelancer should provide: A complete UI/UX review of the platform Design recommendations with clear reasoning High-fidelity mock-ups (Figma preferred) Desktop and mobile designs Reusable component library Design system (fonts, colours, spacing, buttons, cards, tables, etc.) Developer-ready assets and specifications Implementation experience in HTML/CSS/Tailwind/Bootstrap is a bonus but not essential.
