Full-Stack Developer — Consumer Web Platform (Community + E-commerce + AI)

ABOUT THE PROJECT We are building a consumer web platform in the wellness and community space. The aesthetic is warm, minimal, and editorial — think Goop meets a literary magazine. I have a detailed design brief, 6 HTML mockup pages, and a full Developer Bible ready to share with shortlisted candidates. I would like to hire someone with an eye for design and a similar aesthetic as mine. WHAT NEEDS TO BE BUILT This is a full web application that needs to work seamlessly as one platform from day one. It includes: — User accounts and profiles — User-generated pages with unique shareable URLs and photo uploads — An interactive wishlist / registry feature where supporters can claim items — A curated e-commerce shop (affiliate links + direct products, organized by category) — An editorial blog / journal with newsletter integration via Klaviyo — A conversational AI feature using the Anthropic API (can be Phase 2 but must be architected for from the start) — Mobile responsive throughout — Easy for a non-technical founder to manage content, products, and blog posts after launch TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS — Everything built as one seamless platform — not two separate systems bolted together (unless that makes more sense) — User authentication — Database for user-generated content — Photo upload capability — Unique shareable URLs per user — SEO optimized — Domain connection from Namecheap — Shopify can be used as the commerce engine if it integrates seamlessly — Legal pages included DESIGN HTML mockups exist as a direction — not a rigid brief. I want a developer with a genuine design eye who will elevate what's there, flag what isn't working, and bring creative input. References: Goop, The Cut, high-end editorial wellness.
