Full Stack Developer Needed to Build Equipment Inspection Platform (Web + Mobile, SaaS Opportunity)

We are an Australian equipment services company looking for an experienced software developer (or small development team) to build a professional inspection platform for heavy equipment used within the industry. This is intended to become a commercial software product, not simply an internal company tool. We have spent considerable time researching existing products including Safety Culture, Record360, MaintainX, Fulcrum and others. While they offer some useful features, none fully meet our requirements. We're looking for someone who can help us build a modern, scalable solution from the ground up. The Goal Develop a cloud-based inspection platform that allows mining companies and contractors to complete both: Pre-delivery Inspections Post-delivery Inspections The software must make it easy to compare the asset's condition before and after hire and clearly identify any new damage. The system should automatically compare: Previous Pre-Hire Inspection vs Current Post-Hire Inspection allowing users to immediately identify: New damage Existing damage Missing items Additional comments Side-by-side photographs This is a key differentiator of the platform. Reporting Generate professional PDF reports including: Company branding Inspection summary Photos Damage report Signature pages Recommendations User Management Multiple companies. Each company should have: Their own users Their own equipment Their own branding Their own reports Role-based permissions Mobile Friendly The platform should work well on: Desktop Tablet Mobile Happy for it to be web platform initially with the strong view towards app later on Offline capability would be highly desirable with automatic syncing once internet becomes available.
