Full Stack Developer for Custom Web App

Hi guys! I teach an in person Bookkeeping program and I want to bring it online. It's a simulation type of atmosphere where the students actually work for one full year at a fictional company. I have been messing around with Claude and Base44 to sort of get the flow I want and how it works but I am not sure Base44 is the best way to go long term. This isn't a huge SAAS project I am not looking to sell it to a thousands of users. I have 20 students a year now and would never have more than 50-100 users at a time. The whole program runs on a fictional company called Ferguson Renovations a construction and property-management company with multiple entities, a cast of characters (an owner, a controller, a GM, a foreman), and a year's worth of accounting work that drops daily. Inside the app, a student should be able to: Check an inbox and voicemail for tasks (invoices, remittances, payroll, the occasional "hey can you look into this?" from the boss) Work accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, sales tax, and review bank feeds The tasks in the inbox then lead to entering AP invoices, running payroll, billing etc The graduate at the end of the 12 months with a Full Charge Bookkeeping Certification, A personal reference from the instructor and a portfolio showing their skills.
