Full Stack Developer for SaaS Expansion

Full Stack Developer Needed for SaaS Platform Expansion (React + Node.js) We’re looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to help us expand and modernize an existing SaaS platform used by small and mid-sized businesses. The platform is already live and serving customers, but we have an extensive roadmap that includes new customer-facing features, backend optimizations, third-party integrations, and internal admin tools. We’re looking for someone who can work independently, contribute to technical decisions, and deliver production-ready code. Responsibilities: • Develop new frontend features using React and TypeScript • Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express • Design and optimize PostgreSQL database structures • Integrate third-party APIs and webhooks • Improve application performance and scalability • Collaborate with product and design teams • Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Current Tech Stack: • React • TypeScript • Node.js • Express • PostgreSQL • Redis • Docker • AWS • GitHub Actions Nice to Have: • Experience with Next.js • Experience with GraphQL • Familiarity with Kubernetes • Background in SaaS products • Experience working in Agile teams Requirements: • 5+ years of full stack development experience • Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills • Experience building and maintaining REST APIs • Solid database design experience • Understanding of security best practices • Excellent communication skills • Ability to work during at least 3-4 hours of overlap with US business hours Project Details: • Initial engagement: 3–6 months • Expected workload: 20–40 hours/week • Potential for long-term collaboration • Start: ASAP When applying, please include: 1 A brief overview of similar SaaS projects you've worked on. 2 Your preferred frontend and backend technologies. 3 Examples of applications you've built that are currently in production. 4 The word "PINEAPPLE" at the beginning of your proposal so we know you've read the entire job description.
