We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team in a full-time, long-term role supporting a live production application. This role combines hands-on development with real-world production support and is ideal for someone who is technically curious, dependable, and eager to grow in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time (guaranteed hours) position at $5/hour, and candidates must be available to work 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM US Central Time (CST). Technology Stack Frontend: React 19 Backend: Node.js, Express.js Database: PostgreSQL using Neon ORM: Drizzle ORM File Storage: Cloudinary Deployment: Google Cloud Run (containerized services) Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain frontend features using React 19. Build and support backend APIs using Node.js and Express.js. Work with PostgreSQL databases hosted on Neon. Use Drizzle ORM for queries, schema updates, and data access. Support file uploads and media handling via Cloudinary. Assist with containerized deployments on Google Cloud Run. Monitor application health, logs, errors, and uptime in production. Investigate and troubleshoot production issues including downtime, API failures, database issues, upload failures, and frontend bugs. Check logs, Cloud Run service status, database connections, and third-party integrations during incidents. Perform basic recovery steps such as restarting services, validating environment variables, and verifying deployments. Escalate issues with clear findings to senior developers when necessary. Collaborate with developers, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders during incidents. Fix minor bugs and implement small enhancements with guidance. Document issues, root causes, resolutions, and preventive actions. Participate in testing, deployment validation, and release support. Required Skills Basic knowledge of React.js, Node.js, Express.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Understanding of REST APIs and frontend-backend integration. Basic understanding of PostgreSQL. Ability to read and interpret logs and error messages. Familiarity with Git and version control workflows. Willingness to learn Drizzle ORM, Neon, Cloudinary, and Google Cloud Run. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Ability to stay calm and follow structured troubleshooting steps during production incidents. Clear communication skills for updating team members during issues. Good to Have Experience with React 18/19 or modern React frameworks. Basic knowledge of Docker or containerized environments. Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or Cloud Run. Experience with Postman or similar API testing tools. Understanding of environment variables and deployment configurations. Experience with ticketing tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar. Exposure to AI application development, including working with or building AI agents (such as OpenAI, Google AI Studio, or similar platforms), is a strong plus. Production Support Responsibilities The candidate should be comfortable supporting live production issues such as: Application not loading Backend API failures or errors Database connection issues Cloud Run service or container failures File upload failures in Cloudinary Environment variable or configuration issues Slow API responses or timeouts Frontend build or deployment problems User-reported bugs after release For critical issues, the candidate must be able to perform initial investigation, gather logs and screenshots, run basic checks, and escalate with clear and structured findings.
