Full Stack Web Developer

Long Term, Full Time, Opportunity! We’re currently seeking a Full Stack Web Developer to help us build and maintain internal web applications, including workflow automation, API integrations, and production issue resolution. The role includes frontend and backend development, database/API work, and ongoing improvements to reliability, performance, and user experience --------------------------------------------------------------- Ideal days/hours: • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM ET Equipment/computer must-haves: • A reliable laptop/desktop (16GB+ RAM, modern multi-core CPU), stable high-speed internet, dual monitors preferred, webcam/headset for daily calls, and ability to securely run development tools (Node.js, Git, VS Code, browser dev tools, VPN, MFA/password manager). --------------------------------------------------------------- Full-stack Node + Next.js (must-have): Express/Node backend + Next.js/React frontend, React Query/auth/session/roles, ships fast without breaking workflows. Postgres + data modeling (must-have): strong SQL, indexing, migrations, transaction safety, designs lock/state + multi-tenant schemas, prevents race conditions. Healthcare integration(Nice to have): Open Dental//EHR-style integration experience, source-of-truth + idempotency + retries + reconciliation, audit-friendly failure handling. Realtime systems (SSE/WebSocket): can implement SSE replay/reconnect/event contracts, understands polling fallback, builds distributed lock patterns. Security + compliance mindset (Nice to have): HIPAA-aware engineering practices, auth hardening, secret management, encryption/access control basics. DevOps / production ops: Docker, Nginx, CI/CD, monitoring/logging/alerting, zero-downtime deploy + rollback discipline. Background jobs + reliability: queues/retries/dead-letter, idempotent workers, backoff and observability, reliable webhook/scheduler handling. SaaS productization: multi-tenant architecture, org onboarding + permissions + usage tracking
