Full-Stack iOS Developer — AI-Native, High-End Apps (App Studio)

We’re an app studio that ships fast and pushes hard on distribution. Most of our energy goes into paid acquisition across Meta Ads and other major platforms, which means the apps need to be polished, the iteration loop needs to be tight, and the quality bar keeps climbing. We’re looking for an experienced engineer who treats AI as a real force multiplier, knows when to trust it, and knows when to override it. ## What you’ll do - Build and ship iOS apps (Swift/SwiftUI), prototype to App Store. - Build adaptive UIs that work flawlessly across screen sizes, iOS versions, and Xcode toolchains. - Implement widgets, App Clips, push notifications (APNs), and deep linking / universal links. - Handle localization across multiple languages. - Own App Store Connect workflows: uploads, TestFlight, configuration, submissions, review. - Manage local persistence with Core Data. - Architect backends on Cloudflare (Workers, D1, R2, KV) and Supabase, including server-sent events and streaming responses. - Integrate third-party APIs cleanly and securely. - Implement subscriptions and IAP with RevenueCat. - Run A/B tests and manage remote configuration (via RevenueCat and similar tools) for paywalls, pricing, and feature flags. - Wire up analytics and MMPs (Mixpanel, Singular) to track events across the app lifecycle. - Set up Sentry and the rest of the observability stack. - Generate and iterate on UI/UX with AI design tools. ## Heavy AI API work A big part of the job is integrating AI deeply into our apps. You should be fluent with: - OpenAI and Anthropic APIs: chat, image generation, structured outputs. - Tool use, function calling, and agent workflows. - Handling rate limits, retries, cost optimization, and prompt engineering at scale. ## Must-have - Years of engineering experience predating the AI coding boom. - Strong Swift and SwiftUI with shipped apps (App Store links required). - Core Data for local storage. - Daily use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex). - Solid backend fundamentals: REST/GraphQL, auth, databases, caching, queues. - Cloudflare and Supabase experience strongly preferred. - Comfortable with GitHub workflows (PRs, reviews, branching). - Familiarity with Apple’s guidelines and constraints around paywalls, pricing, subscriptions, and App Store review. - Hands-on experience with A/B testing and remote configuration. - Security mindset around keys, tokens, user data, App Store privacy. - Sharp problem-solving, math/CS background or equivalent. - Strong attention to detail and care for performance.
