Full Time Accountant (Xero), Ongoing, Crypto/VASP a Plus

We're a growing Australian business (a regulated Virtual Asset Service Provider) seeking a meticulous accountant to own our books. The role starts with a full historical cleanup and audit of expenses (roughly the first 1 to 2 months), then moves into ongoing monthly accounting. Books must be ready for annual external audit, so accuracy matters more than speed. We want a balance of experience. Not the most senior person, but confident enough to work independently. Most importantly: proactive and assertive. You spot when something looks wrong, dig in, and raise it, rather than just processing what you're given. You always look for ways to make our processes cleaner and more efficient. Must haves: 3 to 5+ yrs accounting experience Advanced Xero skills Strong fundamentals (reconciliations, payroll, month end, financials) Great attention to detail and clear written English Available Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm AEST (8am to 4pm PH), about 36 hrs/wk, with every other Friday OFF Nice to haves (we're happy to teach the right person): Australian GST/BAS, crypto/digital asset experience, Koinly/CoinTracking, CPA/CA.
