Full-Time Assistant / General Virtual Assistant – Mexico City Based

Summary

We are looking for a reliable, organized, and highly computer-savvy Assistant / General Virtual Assistant based in Mexico City to support the owner with daily business and personal administrative tasks. This is primarily a work-from-home role, but the candidate must live in Mexico City and be available for in-person meetings 1–2 days per week at a convenient location for both the employee and freelancer. Candidates must be located in Mexico City only, not surrounding areas. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to communicate professionally with vendors, businesses, and other contacts on behalf of the owner. Responsibilities: • Manage calendars, appointments, reminders, and scheduling • Help coordinate daily office and personal business tasks • Schedule travel, reservations, and related arrangements • Make phone calls and communicate with vendors, businesses, and service providers • Handle email, online research, data entry, and general computer-based tasks • Keep tasks organized and follow up on pending items • Provide general administrative support as needed Requirements: • Must live in Mexico City, Mexico • Must be available for in-person meetings 1–2 days per week in Mexico City • Must be comfortable meeting at a convenient location for both the employee and freelancer • Must be available during U.S. East Coast business hours • Must be highly comfortable using computers, email, online tools, calendars, spreadsheets, and other basic office software • Strong organization and follow-through skills • Professional written and verbal communication • Reliable internet connection and a quiet work environment • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information professionally • English communication skills preferred, especially for calls, emails, scheduling, and vendor correspondence Schedule / Hours: This role requires full-time availability during U.S. East Coast business hours. This is primarily a work-from-home position, but the candidate must be available for in-person meetings 1–2 days per week in Mexico City at a convenient location for both the employee and freelancer. After a 90-day probationary period, if both sides feel it is a good fit, the position may move to 40 hours per week. Ideal Candidate: This role is best for someone who is dependable, resourceful, organized, and comfortable supporting both business and personal administrative needs. The right person should be able to take direction, follow through carefully, and help keep daily tasks moving smoothly.
