Loom Video Requirements Your Loom should be 8–12 minutes and cover the following: 1. Design Walkthrough Using your submitted Figma file, explain: Your visual design decisions: layout, hierarchy, spacing, typography, colors Why the design looks the way it does from an aesthetic standpoint Your design system: type scale, spacing, colors, components CRO thinking behind the layout and sections What you would improve if you revisited the design today 2. CRO Thinking Pick any live eCommerce page and explain: 2–3 conversion issues What you would change Why your changes would improve performance 3. Design Systems Explain how you structure design systems in Figma, including: Typography system Spacing system Color styles Components Scalability for dev handoff -- We’re a Shopify-focused eCommerce agency building high-converting experiences for DTC brands. We’re looking for a full-time UI/UX Designer who can create polished, modern, conversion-focused designs with strong Figma systems. This is a long-term retainer role for someone who can work independently, move fast, and consistently deliver high-quality design. What You’ll Own: High-quality landing pages and website designs CRO-focused layouts for eCommerce/DTC brands Clean and scalable Figma design systems Dev-ready files with clear structure and consistency Ongoing design improvements across multiple brands What We’re Looking For: Strong visual design skills — this is required Clean, modern, high-end UI style Strong understanding of CRO principles Ability to balance aesthetics with conversion performance Well-structured Figma files with components, styles, and auto-layout Strong attention to spacing, alignment, typography, and layout Ability to think in systems, not just screens Fast execution and clear communication Ability to work independently and take ownership Some EST overlap preferred Working Style: Figma-first workflow Async communication Regular progress updates Fast iteration cycles High standards for both design quality and performance Schedule: Full-time: 8 hours/day, Monday to Friday Daily progress updates required 3–4 hours EST overlap preferred Compensation: Starting at $1,000/month Growth based on performance Long-term opportunity Hiring Process: Loom + Figma review Interview for shortlisted candidates Possible small paid trial task
