Full-Time Exclusive Fractional CFO

Role Description LUMI Accounting and Financial Services, LLC is looking for an experienced Fractional CFO to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted financial advisor to multiple clients, helping them understand their financial performance, plan for the future, and make sound business decisions. You will work directly with business owners and leadership teams to provide strategic guidance, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and performance reporting. You will review financial statements, develop meaningful KPIs and dashboards, identify opportunities for growth and profitability, and help clients build financial strategies that support their long-term goals. You will also collaborate closely with our internal team to ensure clients receive accurate, timely, and high-quality financial support. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and helping business owners succeed. Qualifications - 2 to 5 years of experience in a CFO or Fractional CFO role - Strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management - Ability to analyze financial data and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations - Experience reviewing and interpreting financial statements and management reports - Comfortable serving as a strategic advisor to business owners and leadership teams - Experience managing multiple clients and priorities simultaneously - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment - Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (3 to 7 years of experience required) - Advanced Excel or spreadsheet skills - Experience with financial reporting and dashboard tools - Familiarity with Hubflo is a plus - Knowledge of tax planning considerations for small and mid-sized businesses is a plus - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field - CPA, CMA, MSA, or similar professional designation preferred Work Schedule & Commitment This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position. You must be available to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time (EST). During these working hours, LUMI AFS must be your only client and professional commitment. We are looking for someone who can dedicate their full attention to serving our clients and collaborating with our team. The person we hire must personally perform the work. We do not permit subcontracting, outsourcing, or delegating client work to other individuals or firms. We are hiring you for your expertise, communication, and judgment. Our goal is to build a long-term relationship, and while the role begins by serving multiple clients in a Fractional CFO capacity, we are looking for someone who wants to grow with our firm and transition into a permanent full-time member of our team.
