Full-Time Recruiter

Remote | Flexible, 20-40 hours/week About the Role We're looking for a dynamic, self-driven recruiter to lead a recruiting team and own the full client relationship, from first intake call to final placement. This is a highly autonomous position built for someone who thrives with independence, sets their own game plan, and gets energy from connecting with people all day long. We work primarily with startups and closely held businesses, so our clients depend on a recruiter who can move fast, understand a founder's or owner's real hiring needs, and deliver candidates who are genuinely a fit, not just a resume that checks boxes. What You'll Do Lead and mentor a small recruiting team, setting priorities and keeping placements moving Manage the full recruiting cycle: client intake, role scoping, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and placement Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building trusted, long-term relationships with startup founders and business owners Conduct candidate interviews that go beyond the resume to assess real fit for fast-moving, closely held businesses Follow up consistently and proactively with clients, coworkers, and candidates at every stage of the process Own your pipeline and results with minimal oversight, while keeping the team aligned and informed What We're Looking For Prior recruiting or staffing experience preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills An upbeat, people-first personality. You genuinely enjoy talking to people, interviewing them, and helping them find the right fit Outstanding follow-up habits. Nothing falls through the cracks on your watch Comfortable operating independently and making decisions without needing constant direction Leadership instincts and the ability to guide and support a team Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple clients and candidates at once Schedule This role offers flexibility. You'll work between 20 and 40 hours per week, and you control how those hours are structured, as long as most of your time falls between 9 AM and 6 PM EST so you're available to clients, candidates, and your team during core business hours. Compensation Base salary plus commission/bonus tied to placements. Compensation grows directly with your results. Location - Fully Remote
