Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week | Minimum 3 hours overlap with US Eastern Time daily Rate: $800/month Start Date: ASAP About DirectROAS DirectROAS is a direct response marketing agency. We manage paid advertising, funnels, and full revenue systems for high-ticket coaches, consultants, and education companies spending $20k to $300k+ per month on ads. We are a lean, fast-moving team that holds ourselves to a high standard of execution. We are growing and need a full time video editor who lives and breathes direct response creative. This is not a generic video editing role. Every edit you make is designed to stop a scroll, hold attention, and drive action. The Role You will be our dedicated in-house video editor working exclusively for DirectROAS and our client accounts. Our primary editing platform is Submagic which handles the bulk of captions, B-roll sourcing, and animations. Your job is to work inside Submagic, make sure every edit is sharp, intentional, and conversion-focused, and deliver content that performs. You are not here to press buttons. You are here to think critically about every frame and make sure the creative is doing its job. What You Will Be Doing Editing short form ad creatives primarily under 60 seconds across multiple client accounts Working inside Submagic as the primary editing platform — you must already be an expert here Reviewing and refining AI-generated B-roll to make sure it is relevant, on-brand, and supports the message Ensuring captions are accurate, well-timed, and formatted for maximum readability Editing VSLs and longer form video sales content when required Managing a consistent output of approximately 60 to 70 videos per month across 8 client accounts Maintaining brand consistency across each individual client account Flagging creative issues proactively — if a hook is weak, a cut feels off, or B-roll does not make sense you speak up Delivering files on time with zero need for hand-holding What We Are Looking For Non-negotiable: Expert level proficiency in Submagic — you must know every feature inside out Strong understanding of direct response marketing principles — you know what makes a hook work, what kills attention, and how pacing affects conversion Experience editing short form ad creatives specifically — Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, Facebook ads Fast turnaround — agency pace means same day or next day delivery on most edits Minimum 3 hours overlap with US Eastern Time daily for questions, feedback, and revisions Strong attention to detail — captions, B-roll, and cuts must be clean every single time Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously with distinct brand voices Strong plus: Experience working with a direct response or performance marketing agency Familiarity with high-ticket coaching or course creator content Experience editing VSLs and long form sales videos Understanding of Meta ad creative best practices — aspect ratios, hook structure, safe zones Experience with CapCut, Premiere Pro, or After Effects as secondary tools What This Is Not Not a part-time or project-based role. Full time commitment only. Not a role for someone still learning Submagic. You need to already be an expert. Not a role where you just apply presets and call it done. Every edit requires critical thinking. Not a role where you disappear when feedback comes in. Revisions are part of the job and must be turned around fast.
