Full-stack Website Expert Developer & Designer (WordPress, Webflow & Shopify)

Key Responsibilities 🔹 Perform QA and UX/UI testing on work completed by internal and external developers 🔹 Handle ad hoc website updates and changes as assigned 🔹 Maintain 75–100 WordPress websites monthly (plugins, updates, backups, security, server settings) 🔹 Launch 0–4 standard websites per month (10–30 pages) in collaboration with internal teams 🔹 Build clean, modern, user-friendly layouts using CMS page builders 🔹 Create templates for SEO content and image placement 🔹 Develop responsive, mobile-optimized websites with strong performance focus 🔹 Create and apply branding style guides across projects 🔹 Implement global styling and reusable components for efficient development 🔹 Write clean, semantic HTML and CSS (including Flexbox) 🔹 Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and back-end issues proactively and reactively 🔹 Optimize websites for Core Web Vitals, SEO, ADA/WCAG compliance, and load speed 🔹 Collaborate with project managers, designers, and partner developers across time zones 🔹 Modify and maintain existing Shopify and WooCommerce builds (minimal new builds) Requirements & Qualifications Availability & Communication: 🔹 Part-time daily availability with overlap in PST (9 AM – 5 PM) 🔹 Strong English communication (written and verbal) 🔹 Experience with Slack, Google Meet, and ticketing systems Platforms & Tools: 🔹 WordPress (Advanced) 🔹 Elementor Pro (Global Styling, Dynamic Content) 🔹 WooCommerce (Styling, Plugin Configuration) 🔹 Shopify 🔹 Webflow 🔹 Other CMS platforms Development & Customization: 🔹 Experience creating and modifying custom post types 🔹 Ability to customize themes and handle full CMS editing 🔹 Comfortable maintaining and fixing existing websites (not just new builds) Technical Skills: 🔹 PHP 🔹 JavaScript 🔹 Advanced CSS (including Flexbox) 🔹 HTML 🔹 Responsive design Design & UX: 🔹 Ability to create visually strong layouts from basic briefs 🔹 Strong UX/UI understanding with a focus on conversion 🔹 Experience working directly in themes (not reliant on heavy CSS overrides) 🔹 Ability to apply Figma designs into global styles 🔹 Familiarity with Figma, Canva, or similar tools QA, Performance & Optimization: 🔹 Strong troubleshooting skills for layout, responsiveness, and performance issues 🔹 Ability to identify caching, CDN, and lazy-loading issues 🔹 Experience optimizing modern website performance Security & Infrastructure: 🔹 Experience with Cloudflare (DNS, page rules) 🔹 Wordfence or similar security tools 🔹 Website security scans and fixes 🔹 Experience recovering and securing hacked websites
