Full-time Video Editor for History Niche Brand (Viral Reels/TikToks)

We're looking for a talented, experienced video editor to join our history-niche media brand full-time (40 hours/week) as a core team member. You'll be taking raw footage and polished scripts and turning them into compelling, viral-optimized short-form videos. Think clean captions, tight pacing, perfectly matched music, and the kind of editing that makes people stop scrolling and feel engaged all the way through. What You'll Be Doing -Editing raw footage into polished short-form videos (60 seconds to 90 seconds) optimized for Reels and TikTok -Adding accurate, well-timed subtitles -Sourcing supplementary footage, images, or media when needed to support the script and the provided footage -Selecting and syncing music that enhances the story and feel of each video -Collaborating with our team via Slack, Frame.io, and occasional video calls for review and feedback What We're Looking For -Fluent in English (reading and writing, not just spoken) -Proficient in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro -Familiar with Frame.io -A genuine understanding of short-form video: pacing, hooks, retention, and what makes people watch to the end -Reliable, self-directed, and able to hit deadlines without hand-holding -Experience working with content that has actually gone viral To Apply, Please Submit: 1.
