Funding and Grant Researcher

The Second Face Museum of Cultural Masks is seeking a part-time, U.S.-based funding and grant researcher. The ideal candidate will have experience in identifying and applying for grants for non-profit organizations. Responsibilities include conducting research into potential funders, identifying initial contacts to determine interest, and researching and summarizing funding requirements for the Executive Director. At some point in the process, you may be expected to collaborate on drafting formal grant or funding proposals. The role requires flawless English language and grammar skills, skill at Internet research, grant writing skills, and the ability to work independently. Must have at least a bachelor's degree from a reputable college or university. Schedule will be flexible and you will work from your own location. We are a very small institution and are still in the phase of raising funds to fund a grant-writer, so your workload will be light at the beginning.
