Role Overview Fortuna Future Ventures is seeking a highly connected and results-oriented Fundraising & Capital Markets Consultant to support the firm's capital formation efforts across Fund I, future investment vehicles, strategic partnerships, and special purpose investment opportunities. This opportunity is ideal for experienced: Fundraising Professionals Placement Agents Capital Advisors Investor Relations Specialists Family Office Advisors Investment Bankers Private Equity Professionals Venture Capital Professionals Institutional Fundraising Specialists The successful candidate will leverage their network, relationships, and expertise to identify, engage, and secure investment commitments from qualified investors globally. We are seeking professionals who can open doors, build relationships, facilitate investor conversations, and ultimately help close capital commitments that support Fortuna's long-term mission. Key Responsibilities Capital Formation & Fundraising Source and engage qualified capital providers and investors. Generate investment opportunities for Fortuna Future Ventures and affiliated investment vehicles. Support fundraising efforts for Fund I and future funds. Introduce prospective investors and facilitate meaningful investment discussions. Develop targeted fundraising strategies and investor outreach plans. Support capital raising across venture capital, private equity, private credit, infrastructure, project finance, energy, healthcare, AI, real estate, and emerging technology investments. Investor Relations & Strategic Partnerships Build and maintain relationships with institutional and private investors. Coordinate investor meetings, presentations, introductions, and follow-up communications. Assist throughout the investor diligence process. Cultivate long-term strategic partnerships with global capital providers. Act as a professional representative of Fortuna Future Ventures. Strategic Advisory Provide insights into capital markets and investor sentiment. Identify co-investment opportunities and strategic financing partnerships. Assist in strengthening Fortuna's global fundraising ecosystem. Support the development of long-term institutional investor relationships. Preferred Investor Network We are particularly interested in candidates with relationships among: Sovereign Wealth Funds Pension Funds Endowments Family Offices Venture Capital Firms Private Equity Firms Private Credit Funds Infrastructure Funds Strategic Corporate Investors Institutional Asset Managers Development Finance Institutions Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals Global Capital Allocators Preferred Qualifications Experience Proven experience raising capital from institutional or private investors. Demonstrated success securing investment commitments and closing transactions. Strong understanding of capital markets, private funds, venture capital, private equity, infrastructure, project finance, or related sectors. Existing investor relationships and access to qualified pools of capital. Experience working within institutional investment environments is strongly preferred. Preferred Background Investment Banking Private Equity Venture Capital Family Office Advisory Capital Markets Infrastructure Finance Project Finance Institutional Fundraising Private Credit Real Estate Capital Markets Energy Investments Technology Investments Compensation Structure 100% Success-Based Compensation This engagement is entirely performance-based. The successful candidate will receive: 0.75% of Capital Successfully Raised and Funded The success fee applies to capital introduced and secured by the consultant from qualified investors and capital providers. Illustrative Examples $1,000,000 raised = $7,500 $5,000,000 raised = $37,500 $10,000,000 raised = $75,000 $25,000,000 raised = $187,500 $50,000,000 raised = $375,000 $100,000,000 raised = $750,000 For exceptional fundraising results and transformational institutional partnerships, additional compensation arrangements may be considered at the discretion of Fortuna Future Ventures. Success Criteria Compensation becomes payable only when: ✅ The consultant introduces or sources a qualified investor or capital provider. ✅ Definitive investment documentation has been executed. ✅ The investment transaction has formally closed. ✅ Capital has been received and cleared by Fortuna Future Ventures, an approved fund vehicle, SPV, subsidiary, project entity, or affiliated investment structure. Important This is a success-based engagement. No compensation will be paid for: Investor introductions alone Meetings or presentations Investor outreach activities Expressions of interest Indications of interest Due diligence participation Verbal commitments Negotiations that do not result in funded transactions Compensation is earned exclusively upon the successful closing of an investment transaction and receipt of investment capital.
