GIS & Remote Sensing Specialist

We're building remote sensing capabilities into our field-monitoring platform, and we're looking for a GIS / remote sensing specialist to work with us on a long-term contract basis. The work centers on remote sensing analysis over agricultural field boundaries, computing and interpreting vegetation and moisture indices such as NDVI, NDWI, NDMI, and SAVI, along with others where relevant. This means working with satellite imagery (Sentinel-2, Landsat), handling cloud masking and preprocessing, and producing clean, field-level reports from that data. What we're looking for: * A solid grasp of remote sensing indices and how they're derived from spectral bands * Comfort with common geospatial formats (GeoJSON, shapefiles, GeoTIFF, KML) * Familiarity with imagery sources like Sentinel-2 and Landsat, including cloud masking and atmospheric preprocessing * Bonus: Python for geospatial work (geemap, rasterio, geopandas), or ArcGIS experience To keep things practical, we start with a short task before any longer commitment: we'll share a set of field boundaries and ask you to generate remote sensing reports for them.
