GIS Research Analyst (Virtual Assistant) Urban Infill Development & Entitlement Research We are a Tampa, Florida-based urban infill development company focused on identifying hidden land value through: • Lot splits • Re-platting • Rezoning opportunities • Missing-middle housing • Townhome development • Builder-ready lot creation We are seeking a GIS Research Analyst to become the research engine behind our acquisitions team. Your primary responsibility will be identifying urban infill opportunities before they reach the market and compiling highly qualified lead lists for acquisition review. Responsibilities • Research oversized parcels and lot split opportunities • Analyze zoning and Future Land Use designations • Review parcel maps, plats, and GIS systems • Identify redevelopment and moderate-density opportunities • Research permit activity and development trends • Compile ownership information • Build lead lists and acquisition reports • Create maps and visual research deliverables Tools We Commonly Use • Regrid • LandGlide • ArcGIS / QGIS • Google Earth • County GIS systems • Excel • Google Sheets • Airtable Ideal Candidate • Strong research skills • GIS experience • Real estate development interest • Comfortable reviewing zoning codes and plats • Detail oriented • Strong written English This is an ongoing role with significant growth opportunity for the right person.
