GTM & Automation Engineer
Worldwide
Quorum | San Diego (Remote-friendly) | Contract, project-based Quorum is an AI-native marketing agency that embeds within B2B professional services firms in San Diego to build their internal marketing infrastructure, demand strategy, and educate the people to run it all. What You’ll Be Working On Across active client engagements, you’ll be building and maintaining the automation and data infrastructure that powers Quorum’s GTM and lead generation work. That includes: - Multi-table Clay architectures — complex enrichment chains, Claygent-powered AI columns, webhook-based routing, and table relationships tailored to individual client verticals (professional services, financial advisory, consulting, legal, engineering) - Signal detection systems — pulling from external APIs and data sources, processing and classifying intent signals, and routing enriched contacts downstream into CRM and outbound infrastructure - Lead and prospect pipelines — multi-provider email and phone waterfalls, catch-all domain handling, and verification logic before any contact reaches a sending platform - Cross-workflow scoring and deduplication — aggregating signals across tables, surfacing priority accounts without duplication, and syncing clean data to CRM with full source attribution - External orchestration via Make.com — connecting scheduled jobs, scrapers, and webhooks into Clay across multiple client workspaces - AI tool integration — identifying and deploying AI platforms that extend Quorum’s service delivery capabilities; evaluating new tools for fit against client engagements Email and Domain Deliverability Non-negotiable. You’ll need to: - Audit sending infrastructure — SPF, DKIM, DMARC validation, inbox placement testing, domain reputation diagnosis - Architect domain pools with proper mailbox density, warmup sequencing, and staggered cohort provisioning - Build rotation strategies with defined health thresholds and alerting before reputation damage occurs - Handle catch-all domains with dedicated verification routing to protect primary infrastructure - Build anti-pattern variability into timing, sequencing, and message structure for long-term deliverability health Required Skills - Clay at an advanced level — multi-step enrichment, AI column architecture, Claygent prompting, webhook routing, table relationships, CRM sync - Make.com for orchestration, scheduling, and multi-step webhook pipelines - Web scraping via Apify or equivalent for sources without native Clay integrations - REST API fluency — pulling from external data sources, pushing to CRM - Email verification waterfall logic and provider selection based on data type - Email deliverability infrastructure — domain provisioning, DNS configuration, warmup, and rotation Nice to Have - Experience building for B2B professional services verticals (accounting, law, financial advisory, consulting, staffing, IT services, architecture/engineering) - Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator as a Clay data source - Experience with website visitor identification tools (RB2B or equivalent) - Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms - Interest in martech stack evaluation and AI tool integration beyond outbound infrastructure Engagement Project-based to start, with strong potential for ongoing work across multiple client accounts. Workflow specs, enrichment chain maps, and tool documentation are built — you’ll be executing against defined architecture, not scoping from scratch. To Apply Share examples of Clay architectures you’ve built — specifically anything involving multi-step enrichment, AI columns, or external API integrations. Screenshots or a Loom walkthrough are more useful than a tool list. Applications without examples will not be reviewed.
