Gamma App Presentation Designer Needed for Sports Science & STEM Innovation Hub Pitch Deck

We are seeking an experienced Gamma App presentation designer to professionally refine and complete a pitch deck for the Baltimore Youth Sports Science & STEM Innovation Hub. The project presents a proposed community-based motion capture, biomechanics, sports science, and STEM lab that will provide underserved Baltimore youth with access to advanced athletic technology, education, and emerging career pathways. The presentation has already been created in Gamma and the core content is substantially developed. We need someone who can take the existing deck and make it visually polished, properly formatted, and ready to present to foundations, corporate partners, government funders, universities, and other prospective supporters. Scope of Work The selected designer will: Work directly within our existing Gamma presentation. Improve the layout, visual hierarchy, spacing, readability, and overall consistency of every slide. Correct all content overflow and ensure every card fits properly within a standard presentation frame. Use our authentic photo library throughout the deck instead of relying primarily on AI-generated images or generic stock photography. Select the strongest photographs for each slide and crop them appropriately. Maintain a consistent professional visual identity using our orange, black, charcoal, and white color palette. Present complex information—including biomechanics, motion capture, artificial intelligence, data analytics, sports medicine, STEM education, career pathways, program design, budgets, and community impact—in a clear and compelling way. Improve charts, comparison sections, timelines, statistics, diagrams, and process graphics where appropriate. Preserve the meaning and substance of the existing content. Make minor copy-formatting improvements when necessary, but do not substantially rewrite or remove content without approval. Ensure the final deck looks like a professionally designed philanthropic and institutional pitch book rather than a generic AI-generated presentation. Important Design Requirements The designer must be able to work within Gamma without repeatedly creating overflow or solving space problems by unnecessarily enlarging photographs. The completed deck must: Fit properly in presentation mode without scrolling or overflow. Maintain readable font sizes. Avoid overcrowding. Use consistent margins, alignment, typography, card sizes, and spacing. Balance photographs with written content. Avoid excessive empty space. Avoid generic layouts that make every slide look the same. Use visual storytelling appropriate for a major nonprofit funding proposal. Retain the emotional connection to Baltimore youth while also presenting the project as credible, sophisticated, and investment-ready. Deliverables A fully redesigned and polished version of the existing Gamma deck. Proper placement and formatting of photographs from the supplied image library. Correction of all slide overflow, spacing, alignment, and presentation-mode issues. Consistent formatting across the entire presentation. One full revision round after our review. Final Gamma presentation ready for live presentation and PDF export. A final exported PDF reviewed for formatting or rendering problems. Preferred Qualifications Applicants should have: Demonstrated proficiency with Gamma App. A portfolio containing Gamma presentations or comparable pitch decks. Experience designing nonprofit, philanthropic, government, education, sports, STEM, or capital-project presentations. Strong visual storytelling and information-design skills. Experience working with client-supplied photographs. The ability to improve an existing presentation without unnecessarily rebuilding or rewriting it. Strong attention to detail, especially regarding overflow, spacing, consistency, and PDF export quality. Proposed Project Process We would like to begin with a paid test assignment involving one or two slides from the existing presentation. The test will evaluate the designer’s ability to: Follow detailed instructions. Work effectively within Gamma. Correct overflow. Improve layout without making the slide larger or more crowded.
