German - E-Commerce Customer Support Assistant (Remote) About Us We are a growing e-commerce company selling premium kitchen appliances across Amazon, OTTO and Shopify. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented German-speaking Customer Support Assistant to join our remote team. Initially, the workload will be approximately 5–10 hours per week, with the opportunity to grow as our business expands. Our goal is to build a long-term working relationship with someone who enjoys helping customers, learns quickly, and is comfortable working with modern software and AI tools. Your Responsibilities • Respond to customer inquiries in German via Amazon, OTTO, Shopify and email. • Handle returns, refunds, replacements and order-related questions. • Process customer requests using marketplaces, shipping platforms and our internal software. • Follow established customer support workflows and procedures. • Use AI tools to communicate efficiently and accurately. • Escalate technical or product-related issues when necessary. • Maintain a friendly, professional and solution-oriented communication style. Requirements • Excellent written German. • Good English communication skills. • Experience in e-commerce customer support. • Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT for writing, translations and daily work. • Comfortable learning new software and online platforms. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Reliable, proactive and interested in long-term cooperation. Nice to Have • Experience with Amazon Seller Central. • Experience with Shopify. • Experience with OTTO or other marketplaces. • Experience with ERP, order management or customer support software. • Experience with DHL shipping and return processes.
