German Copywriter for E-Commerce Video Ads & UGC Scripts

Summary We’re a marketing agency working with DACH e-commerce brands. We’re looking for an experienced German-speaking Copywriter to join our team. You should be able to write strong UGC scripts, video ad scripts, hooks, headlines and VSL-style copy that doesn’t just sound good, but also sells. The focus is on direct response copy for Meta, TikTok and other performance channels. Your Tasks: * Writing UGC and video scripts that creators can read and record directly * Developing strong hooks, headlines and creative angles for German e-commerce brands * Writing VSL-style scripts for products in the DACH market * Adapting tone of voice and wording to different brands and target audiences * Turning product USPs, customer feedback, reviews and audience pain points into clear ad messages * Contributing ideas and concepts for new ads, both video and static * Reworking and improving existing scripts for clarity, tension and conversion * Working closely with creative strategists, UGC creators, designers and editors Your Profile: * At least 3 years of experience in e-commerce, either on brand or agency side. This is required. * You are a copywriter at heart and enjoy writing a lot * Excellent German writing skills * Experience with direct response copy, UGC scripts, video ads or VSL-style scripts * You are a strong storyteller and can turn product USPs into persuasive ad messages * You understand how to write hooks that stop the scroll and drive action * You have a portfolio with real ad copy, scripts or VSL-style work you wrote yourself * You work independently, meet deadlines and communicate clearly * You are analytical enough to turn numbers, customer feedback and learnings into better copy Please apply if you are available for at least 20 hours per week and can start soon.
