We are looking for an experienced German (Germany) Localization Proofreader to review professionally localized e-learning content. The content has already been translated and localized by a native linguist in accordance with detailed localization guidelines. Your role is to conduct a final quality review, ensuring the content is linguistically accurate, culturally appropriate for Germany, and ready for client delivery. Responsibilities: • Proofread and review localized content for accuracy, fluency, and natural readability. • Ensure compliance with the provided localization and style guidelines. • Check grammar, spelling, punctuation, formatting, and consistency. • Verify terminology usage and maintain consistency throughout the course. • Ensure the content is culturally relevant and appropriate for the German (Germany) audience. • Identify and correct any remaining linguistic or localization issues. Requirements: • Native speaker of German (Germany). • Proven experience in localization proofreading or linguistic quality assurance (LQA). • Experience with e-learning, corporate training, or IT/security content is an advantage. • Excellent attention to detail and consistency. • Ability to deliver high-quality work within the agreed timeline.
