German Proofreader for Fiction Books

We are an experienced e-book publishing agency looking for a skilled, reliable, and detail-oriented proofreader who can proofread translated romance books for us. The translations you will be provided with are high-quality. What we’re looking for: - Strong command of the German language (native German speaker) - Previous experience in proofreading/editing or translation - Ability to meet deadlines and reliable communication - Openness to feedback and potential revisions - An eye for detail - A keen eye for grammar and style Your responsibilities are: - Proofread and edit manuscripts (around 60k words per book) - Correct spelling, punctuation, grammar - Check and maintain consistency and clarity throughout the story - Flag any translation inconsistencies or issues - Refine the tone of the translated books - Make sure the translation sounds natural to a German reader and preserves the original meaning To apply, please provide a brief introduction and your previous experience with proofreading.
