🇩🇪 German Translator (FR → DE) – E-commerce Marketing Content | Long-Term Collaboration

We are looking for a German-speaking copywriter with excellent French skills to help us adapt our marketing content for the German market. We are looking for someone who can understand the intent behind a message, adapt the marketing angle, and create content that naturally resonates with German consumers. Main responsibilities: *Adapt our video advertising scripts from French to German (transcreation, marketing adaptation / not word-for-word translation). *Adapt our advertorials, product pages, marketing emails, and other e-commerce content. *Review our finalized videos: subtitles, on-screen text, wording, and overall message consistency. *Identify wording or angles that may not work well in the German market and suggest better alternatives. *Advise us on German consumer expectations, habits, and sensitivities. Ideal profile: *Native German speaker. *Excellent command of French. *Proven experience in advertising copywriting, e-commerce, direct response marketing, or marketing localization. *Able to adapt a message to drive sales, not simply translate content. *Understands German consumers' buying triggers and common marketing mistakes to avoid. *Knowledge of German advertising regulations (UWG, HWG, health claims regulations) is a strong plus. *Fast, autonomous, and able to deliver high-quality work with minimal revisions. *Available for regular monthly collaboration.
