We are seeking a confident, female voice artist who is a native German speaker from Germany to help families talk in German together! We're looking for someone who can record about 20-30 hours of audio in a week. .:: About Us ::. TalkBox.Mom is dedicated to helping families in the United States speak German in common family situations. Our program aims to ensure that our customers sound like native speakers, improving their pronunciation. Native speakers also use our program to encourage their children to start talking back. Therefore, it is essential that you were born and raised in Germany to meet the requirements for recording our audio. .:: Your Role ::. As our voice artist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality audio recordings. Your responsibilities will include: (1) Following the provided scripts and reading instructions. (2) Ensuring the recordings sound natural, authentic, and capture the essence of how a family member would genuinely speak in each situation. (3) Reviewing translations as you record, and reporting any spelling or grammar errors, as well as mismatched or inaccurate translations. (4) Meeting deadlines and confidently delivering a script all the way through in one file. Note that we do not want you to edit your audio. If you make a mistake, simply repeat the sentence again. We have a team of audio editors that will take care of the rest! Payment will cover both the recording time and administrative tasks such as accessing the script, saving files, and uploading them to the designated folder. .:: Your Application ::. To apply, please record the following phrases. For the first phrase, please record word by word first, with a pause between the words, then read the full sentence *slightly* slower than your normal speed (but it should sound natural). For the second phrase, break the sentence into 2 or 3 parts where it sounds natural in German, then read the full sentence *slightly* slower than your normal speed (but it should sound natural).
