Ghostwriter Needed: Psilocybin, Microdosing & Men’s Health
Worldwide
A Men’s Guide to Microdosing and Growing Psilocybin Mushrooms: I’m looking for an experienced ghostwriter with a genuine interest in psychedelic medicine, specifically psilocybin, microdosing, and its applications to men’s health. IMPORTANT: Please Read Before Applying: I am very familiar with AI-generated content, including the language patterns, and tone that often make it recognizable. As AI-assisted writing has become increasingly common, many readers are now familiar with these patterns as well. I am not opposed to the use of AI for research. I understand that it can be useful during the writing process. However, I do not want the finished manuscript to read like AI-generated content. I want the writing to feel natural, thoughtful, and genuinely human. That means avoiding the generic AI language that gives it an impersonal or manufactured feel. If you choose to use AI as part of your process, that is your decision. What matters to me is the final product. Any AI-assisted material needs to be carefully reviewed, fact-checked, and humanized so that it has genuine thought, personality, and a consistent authorial voice. I am hiring a writer for their creativity, and ability to tell a compelling story, not simply their ability to generate text. About the Book: A Men’s Guide to Microdosing and Growing Psilocybin Mushrooms takes a closer look at how psilocybin may relate to men’s physical health, mental health, performance, and day-to-day lives. The goal is to present the subject in a way that is accessible to a general audience while remaining intellectually honest and science-informed. This is not intended to be a dry academic book. I want the research clear and engaging as possible. Where the Manuscript Currently Stands: The Introduction and Chapters 1 and 2 are already roughly written. They provide the voice, and direction for the book, should be viewed as a working draft rather than finished copy. I am completely open to editing, restructuring, or adding to those sections where needed. I want the writer to feel comfortable giving any suggestions where possible. The Selected Writer Will: -Follow the existing table of contents and overall vision for the book. -Conduct independent research beyond the material provided. -Read and evaluate peer-reviewed studies and credible scientific research. -Fact-check scientific, medical, historical, statistical, and other factual claims. -Provide accurate citations and source information for research used. -Never invent studies, statistics, quotations, researchers, or references. -Translate complex scientific research into engaging, understandable language for a general readership. -Incorporate appropriate nuance rather than presenting psilocybin as a cure-all. The Ideal Writer Will Have: -Professional experience writing nonfiction books, health/wellness content, or science-informed material. -A genuine interest in psychedelic medicine and psilocybin research. -Familiarity with the current scientific conversation surrounding psilocybin and microdosing. -A strong understanding of male physiology and men's health. -Excellent research and fact-checking skills. -Strong storytelling and ghostwriting ability. -The ability to explain complex concepts without making the writing feel academic or clinical. -Excellent command of the English language. -The ability to write naturally and avoid formulaic, repetitive AI-style material. -Personal experience with psychedelics is welcome but not required. What matters most is your ability to understand the subject, engage with the research, and write about it responsibly and authentically. Writing Style: Warm. Intelligent. Conversational. Thoughtful. Science-informed. Human. -The reader should feel like they are being guided by someone who genuinely understands the subject. -I want the book to have personality and depth while maintaining credibility. -The writing should be accessible enough for someone who has never read a scientific paper, while still being rigorous enough that the underlying research is treated seriously. Potential for Ongoing Work: I have plans for additional books and projects within psilocybin space, so I am particularly interested in finding someone who can become familiar with my voice, standards, and potentially work with me on future projects. What to Include in Your Application: -A brief explanation of your experience with psilocybin, psychedelic medicine, men's health, or related subjects. -1-2 relevant writing samples, preferably nonfiction, psychedelics health, science, psychology. -Briefly describe your research and fact-checking process. -Please identify whether you use AI in your writing process and, if so, how you use it. If you are passionate about this subject, enjoy research, and know how to turn complicated information into compelling nonfiction, I would love to hear from you. Lastly, please put "Mushroom Magic" as your first two words in your application so that I know you've read and understood everything.
