Ghostwriter for Romance Books

We are an experienced e-book publishing agency looking for a skilled and reliable writer who can produce romance books for us. We focus on producing and delivering emotionally engaging, well-paced stories with strong character dynamics. We expect the stories to have natural dialogues (conversations that flow smoothly), consistent pacing (no dull or slow moments) and arcs that peak at the right moment. Stories are typically 60,000 words in length, for which we pay 350 USD. Brief story premises and tropes will be provided, and writers are expected to bring the story to life with very strong attention to detail and the knowledge of what compelling romance stories require. What we’re looking for: - Proven experience in writing romance (contemporary romance; dark romance/mafia romance is a plus but not required) - Strong storytelling skills - Ability to build tension and compelling chemistry between characters - An eye for detail - Ability to follow a brief story premise and tropes while bringing creativity to the story - Ability to meet deadlines and reliable communication - Openness to feedback and potential revisions - Ability to write outlines Scope (Milestone structure): - First portion of the manuscript (about 2,000 words) - Full outline (5,000 to 6,000 words) - Second portion of the manuscript (about 8,000 words) - Remaining portion of the manuscript (about 50,000 words) To apply, please include a relevant sample of your previous work (romance only).
