GitLab Performance Testing (GPT) Setup & Tutor Needed (Self-Managed On-Prem) Job Description I am looking for an experienced GitLab administrator or DevOps engineer who has hands-on experience with the GitLab Performance Tool (GPT) and can help me set it up in our lower environment. This is not a one-time setup job. I am also looking for someone who can teach and mentor me throughout the process so I can perform future testing independently. Environment GitLab Ultimate (Self-Managed, On-Premises) Linux servers Multi-node High Availability (HA) environment Lower/Pre-Production environment Administrator access available What I Need Help With Install and configure the GitLab Performance Tool (GPT) Explain all prerequisites and dependencies Configure Docker (or recommend alternatives if applicable) Generate or prepare test data/projects Configure the required environment variables and configuration files Execute performance tests Explain each step while we work together Review and explain test results Help troubleshoot any issues encountered during setup or execution Best practices for future performance testing Requirements Proven experience with GitLab Performance Tool (GPT) Experience with self-managed GitLab environments Strong Linux administration skills Docker experience Ability to explain technical concepts clearly in English Comfortable teaching through screen sharing (Google Meet or Microsoft Teams) Project Type Hourly I expect this engagement to take approximately 4–10 hours initially, with the possibility of additional work in the future.
