Google Ads Expert Needed – Audit & Launch for Home Service Business (NOT Daily Management)

We are looking for a highly skilled Google Ads expert with extensive experience generating qualified leads for home service businesses. This is NOT a daily Google Ads management position. We already have an in-house Marketing VA who will handle the day-to-day monitoring, optimization, reporting, and maintenance of our Google Ads account. We are looking for an experienced Google Ads strategist who can: Perform a comprehensive audit of our existing account. Develop an overall Google Ads strategy. Build and launch high-performing Google Ads campaigns. Verify conversion tracking and account setup. Provide recommendations based on Google Ads best practices. Hand off a clean, organized account to our internal marketing team. This Is NOT an Ongoing Management Position Please note: We already employ internal marketing staff who manage our Google Ads account on a daily basis. They are responsible for: Daily optimization Search term reviews Negative keywords Budget adjustments Reporting Performance monitoring Your role is to provide expert strategy, perform an in-depth audit, build and launch campaigns, and ensure the account is structured for long-term success. Phase 1 – Comprehensive Google Ads Audit Perform a detailed audit of our existing Google Ads account. Your audit should include: Campaign structure Search Campaign review Performance Max review (if applicable) Keyword strategy Search Terms analysis Negative keyword opportunities Ad copy Headlines & descriptions Ad assets Bid strategy Budget allocation Geographic targeting Device performance Audience targeting Conversion tracking Google Tag Manager review GA4 review Quality Score analysis Landing page review Lead quality review Cost per qualified lead analysis Wasted ad spend Competitor analysis Missed opportunities Prioritized recommendations Phase 2 – Build & Launch New Campaigns After completing the audit, build and launch new Google Ads campaigns using Google Ads best practices. This includes: Keyword research Campaign architecture Search Campaigns Performance Max (if appropriate) High-converting ad copy Ad assets Conversion tracking setup Call tracking verification Audience setup Budget recommendations Geographic targeting Negative keyword lists Ad scheduling Final quality assurance testing Campaign launch Deliverables You will provide: Comprehensive written audit Screen-recorded walkthrough (Loom or Zoom) Prioritized action plan Estimated impact of recommendations Fully built Google Ads campaigns Campaigns successfully launched Conversion tracking verified Documentation explaining campaign structure One handoff meeting with our internal marketing staff to review the account and answer questions Required Experience You MUST have experience generating qualified leads for home service businesses such as: Roofing HVAC Plumbing Wildlife Removal Pest Control Electricians Garage Doors Landscaping Restoration Concrete Windows & Doors Similar local service industries Required Skills Google Search Ads Performance Max Google Analytics 4 Google Tag Manager Conversion Tracking Call Tracking Local Lead Generation Landing Page Optimization Negative Keyword Strategy Budget Scaling Quality Score Optimization Campaign Architecture Home Service Marketing Experience with GoHighLevel is a major plus. Important This is an Audit & Launch project—not a daily account management position. We already have internal staff responsible for the ongoing daily management of our Google Ads account. We are looking for a Google Ads expert to ensure the account is professionally structured, optimized, and launched for long-term success. There may be opportunities for future audits or consulting projects, but this engagement is focused on strategy, implementation, and a successful handoff, not routine daily optimization.
