Job Title: Google Ads Manager Needed for Local Home Services Business (Part-Time, Ongoing) Description: I run Light Them Up Gulf Coast, a permanent outdoor LED lighting installation company serving the Pensacola, FL to Biloxi, MS Gulf Coast region. I’m looking to start running Google Ads and need an experienced manager to set up and optimize a Search campaign from scratch. About the account: • Existing Google Ads account, ready for a new campaign build • No prior Google Ads history — this will be the first campaign running • Starting daily budget: $20/day (~$600/month), paid directly by me • You’ll be added as a user on my existing account — no new account creation, ownership stays with me Scope of work: • Build and launch a Search campaign targeting relevant local keywords for permanent LED lighting installs • Ongoing optimization — keywords, bids, ad copy, landing page conversion tracking • Weekly performance reporting: ad spend, clicks, cost-per-lead (CPL), lead quality, and conversions Lead handling: All leads generated route directly to me for follow-up and closing. You’re responsible for traffic generation and optimization only — not sales conversations. Performance expectations: • Weeks 1-2: learning phase, no hard CPL target — just confirming the campaign is functioning and generating relevant traffic • Weeks 3-4: targeting a CPL of $20 or under, with lead quality reviewed alongside cost (not judged on cost alone) • We’ll do a check-in at the 14-day mark to review data together and decide next steps Compensation: • $300/month flat management fee, paid weekly ($75/week) • Month-to-month, either party can cancel with 7 days’ notice • Potential to scale up budget and pay significantly more if performance is strong after the first 30-60 days Ideal candidate: • Proven experience running Google Ads for local/home services businesses • Comfortable being judged on real numbers and providing clear, honest weekly reporting • Able to propose a smart approach for a brand-new account with no historical data If interested, please share relevant experience with local service business campaigns and your general approach to a cold-start account like this one.
