Google Ads Manager for Local Lead Generation (Fire Safety Business)

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Google Ads Manager to take ownership of a single ad account for a local fire safety business. Your primary objective is to generate consistent, high-quality leads through effective campaign management, keyword optimisation, and ongoing performance improvements. Responsibilities: • Manage and optimise one Google Ads account (Search-focused) • Conduct keyword research and ongoing PPC optimisation • Improve campaign structure, targeting, and bidding strategies • Write and test ad copy to improve CTR and conversions • Monitor performance and continuously improve KPIs (CPL, conversion rate, lead volume) • Implement tracking and ensure accurate reporting Reporting & Communication: • Attend a weekly 30-minute check-in call with the Managing Director • Provide clear, concise performance reports • Recommend actionable improvements based on data Requirements: • Proven experience managing Google Ads for local lead generation • Strong understanding of PPC, keyword intent, and conversion optimisation • Experience working with service-based businesses (preferred) • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders • Data-driven mindset with a focus on ROI Nice to Have: • Experience in compliance-heavy or technical industries (e.g. safety, construction, etc.) • Familiarity with call tracking and lead attribution tools Engagement Details: • Ongoing role • Single account focus • Weekly communication required • Please include examples of past results (especially lead generation campaigns) when applying.
