If you live in Search and Performance Max, hate sloppy tracking, and want one high-intent brand you can point to and say “I built that,” this is for you. We’re Cloud9, a tech-forward extended-stay operator. We turn premium units in Class-A Chicago towers into fully furnished “Alternative Luxury Rentals” for 30–90 day business stays. 60+ units live, scaling toward a multi-million-dollar annual run rate. Now we want a Google Ads specialist to own demand capture when people are actively searching for us. Your core missions B2C – Guest bookings (primary) • Capture high-intent search like “furnished apartment downtown Chicago,” “30-day corporate housing,” “extended stay [neighborhood].” • Build and manage Search + PMax with tight keyword and negative strategy, plus conversion-optimized landing flows. B2B – Property-owner partner leads • Capture owners/operators searching to fill vacancy or boost NOI, plus smart retargeting. • Help us define what’s realistic volume-wise and where Google fits vs other channels. Brand – Cloud9 / Marcus awareness • Use YouTube and Display for reach, remarketing, and brand-term defense on Search. What you’ll actually do • Architect and manage Search, PMax, Display, and YouTube mapped cleanly to the three objectives above. • Own keyword research, match types, negatives, ad copy, and extensions. • Set up and validate conversion tracking end to end: GA4, GTM, conversion actions, and offline/lead imports where relevant. • Run a disciplined testing cadence and report on CPA, cost per booking inquiry, cost per partner lead, and ROAS where applicable. • Advise on landing pages and conversion paths; we build, you tell us what to change. • Give clear calls: what to scale, what to cut, and realistic ceilings per objective. You’re a fit if • You’ve driven real results with Google Ads for lead-gen or booking-style businesses and can share numbers. • You’re deep on Search + PMax, keyword and negative discipline, and conversion tracking (GA4 + GTM). • You’re comfortable with considered-purchase funnels, not just ecom ROAS. • Bonus: real estate, hospitality, travel, or local-service experience. • Bonus: YouTube/Display brand campaigns. How to apply (CTA) At the top of your proposal, please list: One Search or PMax campaign most similar to our objectives (niche, country, monthly spend, CPA/CPL, and what happened after the click). How you’d approach keyword + negative structure for extended-stay / furnished rentals so we capture buyers, not tourists. One thing you’d check or set up first in our stack before touching budgets. We pay market rates for proven operators and want this to be a long-term engagement if we work well together.
