We're a roadside assistance company serving Rochester, Minnesota, and the surrounding area. We help stranded drivers with: · Flat tire repair/replacement · Jump-starts (dead batteries) · Fuel delivery (ran out of gas) · Lockout services (keys locked in car) Our customers are stressed and in a hurry—they need help within 15–30 minutes. We're hiring a Google Ads pro to build a campaign that puts us in front of them the exact moment they search. --- Scope of Work We need you to: · Set up a new Google Ads account (or take over our existing one) with a Local Service Ads (LSA) + Search Ads strategy · Implement location targeting – Rochester, MN + a 50–80 mile radius (e.g., Byron, Kasson, Stewartville) · Install conversion tracking for phone calls (our #1 conversion) + form fills – use Google Tag Manager + GA4 · Build out ad groups for each service line: · Tire change / flat tire repair · Jump-start / battery service · Fuel delivery / gas delivery · Lockout / car key unlock · Set up call extensions and location extensions so drivers can call or find us instantly · Create negative keyword lists to filter out DIY searchers (e.g., "how to jump a car," "buy tire iron") · Set a bid strategy that prioritizes calls during our peak hours (6 AM – 6PM) · Configure Google My Business integration if applicable · Deliver a campaign launch report with strategy, structure, and recommended monthly budget Ongoing management: Weekly search term reviews, negative keyword updates, bid adjustments by service type, and monthly performance calls. --- Must-Have Qualifications To be considered, you must: · Have 3+ years managing Google Ads for local service businesses (plumbing, towing, HVAC, locksmith, etc.) · Be Google Ads certified (Search and Measurement) · Show specific results from a local campaign – e.g., "Increased calls by 60% for a locksmith in 90 days" · Have experience with call tracking and optimizing for phone conversions · Know how to set up Local Service Ads (this is critical) · Be fluent in English with fast response times (we move quickly) · Have a Job Success Score of 95%+ on Upwork --- Nice-to-Have · Experience with towing or roadside assistance industry · Experience with call recording / call analytics (e.g., CallRail) · Understanding of seasonal trends (winter = more jump-starts, summer = more flats) --- How to Apply – Read Carefully To filter out copy-paste proposals, please: 1. Start with "I know Rochester drivers." 2. Tell us your strategy for Local Service Ads vs. Search Ads for roadside assistance (3–4 sentences) 3. Share 1 specific result you got for a local service client – include metrics 4. Confirm you'll set up everything in our Google Ads account, not yours 5. Tell us your recommended starting monthly ad budget for a city our size (Rochester, MN – ~120k population) --- Important Notes · You will not own the account. Full ownership stays with us. · We'll grant Manager Access only. · Phone calls are our primary conversion goal – we need tracking set up correctly from day 1. · We're looking for a long-term partner to manage this as we grow.
