Government Contracting Bid Research & Proposal Writer Title: Government Contracting Bid Researcher & Proposal Writer (SAM.gov / GovCon) Description: Kapital Kontracting is a growing government contracting and staffing company building an active bid pipeline across federal, state, county, city, and commercial procurement channels. We're looking for an experienced GovCon specialist to own opportunity research and proposal writing from day one. This is not an entry-level or training role. You should already be fluent in SAM.gov, solicitation review, and proposal writing — we need someone who can get organized and start producing results immediately. Responsibilities: Search SAM.gov and other federal/state/county/city/commercial procurement portals daily for opportunities matching our NAICS codes and capabilities Review solicitations (RFQs, RFPs, IFBs) for deadlines, requirements, site visits, and documentation needs Maintain a bid/opportunity tracker, prioritized by fit, deadline, value, and our ability to perform Draft complete proposal packages: capability statements, technical responses, past-performance sections, quality-control plans Coordinate pricing info and subcontractor quotes into submissions Quality-check every submission for accuracy before it goes out Work toward a target of 5 qualified opportunities/submissions per business day (volume scales with fit) Submit a daily end-of-day report: opportunities researched, opportunities qualified, proposals completed/submitted, dollar value pursued, upcoming deadlines, items needing approval, next-day priorities Requirements: Proven experience with SAM.gov and government/commercial procurement portals Demonstrated proposal writing experience (RFP/RFQ/IFB responses, capability statements, past-performance narratives) Strong organizational skills — able to manage a live tracker and hit daily volume targets Excellent written English and attention to detail Available for daily reporting and consistent, reliable hours Nice to have: Experience with SBA certifications (WOSB or similar) is a plus, though this sits primarily with our compliance role Familiarity with corporate vendor/supplier portals (e.g., Boeing-type procurement systems) To apply: Please include 2–3 examples of proposals or capability statements you've written (redacted if needed), and confirm your SAM.gov experience directly in your application.Government Contracting Bid Research & Proposal Writer Title: Government Contracting Bid Researcher & Proposal Writer (SAM.gov / GovCon) Description: Kapital Kontracting is a growing government contracting and staffing company building an active bid pipeline across federal, state, county, city, and commercial procurement channels.
