AI Governance & Assurance Practice Lead

Senior AI Governance & Responsible AI Consultant AI Governance | ISO 42001 | NIST AI RMF | Model Risk | AI Assurance We are seeking an experienced AI Governance and Responsible AI Consultant to support advisory engagements across SaaS, healthtech, fintech, digital platforms, and regulated industries. This is a senior consulting role focused on helping organisations govern, assess, and manage AI responsibly. The successful candidate will work with executive teams, product leaders, technology stakeholders, risk functions, and governance teams to establish practical AI governance capabilities that support innovation while managing risk. Key Responsibilities Conduct AI governance and AI risk maturity assessments Develop AI governance frameworks and operating models Establish AI inventories and AI use-case registers Facilitate AI risk assessments and risk workshops Design AI policies, standards, and control frameworks Support ISO 42001 and NIST AI RMF alignment initiatives Review model governance and model risk management practices Assess AI-related privacy, data governance, and compliance risks Evaluate AI vendor and third-party AI risks Design monitoring, reporting, and assurance processes Prepare executive and board-level reporting Develop practical remediation and implementation roadmaps ### Desired Experience Applicants should demonstrate experience in several of the following areas: * AI governance * Responsible AI * Model risk management * Technology risk * Data governance * Privacy and compliance * AI assurance and controls testing * Risk management frameworks * Governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) * Enterprise technology advisory ### Framework Knowledge Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable: * ISO/IEC 42001 * NIST AI RMF * ISO/IEC 23894 * Responsible AI frameworks * AI risk management frameworks * Data governance frameworks * Privacy and security frameworks * AI regulatory and governance requirements Preferred Industry Experience Experience in one or more of the following sectors is highly valued: * Healthtech * Digital health * SaaS * Fintech * Payments * Financial services * Enterprise technology * Regulated industries Preferred Certifications Relevant certifications may include: * ISO 42001 * ISO 27001 * CISA * CISM * CRISC * CISSP * CDPSE * Privacy certifications * Data governance certifications * AI governance or responsible AI certifications Application Questions Please address the following: 1.
