AI Governance, Information Security & Intellectual Property Consultant (FinTech / SaaS)

We are seeking an experienced consultant to help develop Genieum's initial AI Governance Framework and related governance documentation. Genieum is an Australian FinTech company developing a proprietary B2B trade credit platform. AI is becoming a core part of our business across software development, business analysis, testing, customer communications, knowledge management and future AI-enabled customer interactions. The objective of this engagement is not to produce generic AI policies. Instead, we are looking for an experienced consultant to work with our executive and engineering teams to develop practical governance documentation tailored specifically to Genieum's technology platform, intellectual property and business model. The successful consultant should have experience across areas such as: - AI governance - software engineering governance - information security - intellectual property protection - technology risk - SaaS or FinTech environments - ISO 27001 (ISO 42001 experience advantageous) This is expected to become an ongoing advisory relationship as Genieum prepares for institutional investor due diligence and future ISO 27001 readiness. Our objective is to appoint the successful consultant during August 2026 and complete the initial framework documents during August, working collaboratively with our CTO and leadership team. We are seeking applicants who have personally developed governance, information security or technology risk frameworks for software or SaaS businesses. Applicants should have excellent written English and be comfortable preparing documentation suitable for review by institutional investors, external technology consultants and future due diligence processes. Preference will be given to consultants with demonstrable experience advising software, SaaS or FinTech businesses in areas such as AI governance, information security, intellectual property protection or technology risk management.
