Summary

We are seeking an experienced government sales and business development professional to help identify and pursue project opportunities with U.S. federal agencies. Our company holds a GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) and has successfully delivered work for agencies including the Department of Commerce and HRSA. We also hold a California CMAS contract. This role focuses on helping us expand our federal footprint by identifying opportunities, building agency relationships, and supporting capture and proposal efforts. This is a part-time or contract role with potential for ongoing engagement based on results. Responsibilities * Identify federal project opportunities aligned with our GSA MAS offerings * Research upcoming and active opportunities via SAM.gov, GSA eBuy, and agency forecasts * Support opportunity qualification, capture strategy, and positioning * Assist with outreach to contracting officers, program managers, and small business offices * Advise on federal buying processes, timelines, and agency-specific practices Required Experience * Proven experience selling to or working with U.S. federal agencies * Hands-on familiarity with GSA MAS contracts and the federal procurement lifecycle * Experience identifying opportunities on SAM.gov and/or GSA eBuy * Strong understanding of government acquisition processes Preferred Qualifications * Prior success helping small or mid-sized firms win federal work * Existing relationships within civilian agencies (e.g., Commerce, HHS, HRSA, etc.) * Knowledge of set-asides and small business programs (a plus) Engagement Details * Contract / freelance role with potential for full time if desired * Flexible hours * Compensation: open to discussion based on experience * Fully remote
