Summary

This role is a hybrid of grant writing and strategic project support. You’ll work closely with our executive and account management teams to: • Identify and research grant opportunities across government, corporate, and philanthropic sectors. • Support the development of strategic plans, facility development templates, and grant applications. • Apply strong design skills in PowerPoint and Canva to create high-impact visuals for reports and presentations. • Build and maintain datasets, dashboards, and reports using Excel (Power BI experience highly regarded). • Collaborate with project managers, grant writers, and stakeholders to deliver quality client outcomes. Key Responsibilities Grant Research & Management • Identify new grant opportunities from government, corporate, and philanthropic sources. • Prepare concise research reports outlining eligibility, deadlines, and application processes. • Keep the grant database updated and track changes to programs or funding guidelines. • Provide research and data to support grant writing, including funding requirements and documentation. • Engage with funding bodies to stay ahead of upcoming opportunities and trends. Strategic Projects & Design • Assist in developing strategic planning templates, facility planning documents, and grant templates. • Create professional, visually engaging presentations and materials in PowerPoint and Canva. • Analyse datasets and prepare insights through Excel and (ideally) Power BI dashboards. • Support the Communications Manager and Account Managers in sharing grants with prospective clients. Performance Measures You’ll be measured on: • Quality and timeliness of grant research reports. • Number and value of successful grants supported by your research. • Accuracy of the maintained grant database. • Responsiveness and collaboration with the broader team. Role Details • Type: Remote – 30–40 hrs/week, with potential to scale. • Location: Flexible, remote work. • Rate: Negotiable based on skills and experience. • Growth: Clear pathway from assistant/junior manager to full manager role.
