Graphic Design & Print Production Assistant

We are a growing custom printing and personalised products business based in Portugal, looking for a reliable and detail-oriented remote assistant to support us with graphic preparation, mockups and print-ready files. This is not a general virtual assistant position. We need someone who understands graphic design and can prepare customer artwork correctly for physical production. Main responsibilities You will help us with tasks such as: Removing backgrounds from logos and images Cleaning, improving and rebuilding low-quality artwork Vectorising simple logos and graphics Creating realistic product mockups for customer approval Preparing artwork in the correct dimensions Creating transparent PNG files Preparing print-ready files for DTF printing Preparing files for sublimation and vinyl cutting Checking image resolution, proportions and quality Organising files by customer and order Making small revisions requested by customers Creating DTF gang sheets when required Preparing promotional images for our website and social media Most jobs involve personalised t-shirts, polos, sweatshirts, jackets, mugs, stickers and other customised products. Required skills Good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW or similar vector software Good knowledge of Photoshop or similar image-editing software Experience removing backgrounds professionally Ability to recreate or vectorise simple logos Understanding of transparent PNG, SVG, PDF and vector files Understanding of image resolution and real print dimensions Good attention to spelling, measurements, colours and positioning Ability to follow clear instructions and file-naming systems Reliable communication and availability for revisions Experience with DTF printing, sublimation, vinyl cutting, screen printing or the personalised products industry will be highly valued. Working arrangement We would like to begin with a small paid trial involving several real tasks. The trial may include: Removing the background from an image Rebuilding or cleaning a low-resolution logo Creating a clothing mockup Preparing a design at a specific size for DTF printing Making a revision after receiving feedback If the trial goes well, this can become ongoing weekly work. The initial workload will likely be around 10 to 20 hours per week, depending on our order volume. We are looking for someone interested in a long-term working relationship, not only a one-off project.
